I’m a huge bookworm, and for me, there is nothing better than to escape the demands of the real world by jumping into another. When you read a really good book, it’s as though you are living through what is taking place within the pages and traveling to a whole new location. When it comes to imagining, the possibilities are endless. No one can tell you the rules or set boundaries when it comes to your own creativity. We can create our own reality, an escape world.
Here are a few new worlds to explore from some popular stories I’ve read throughout the years:
-Narnia from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
-Dinotopia from Dinotopia series by James Gurney
-Hogwarts from Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
-Middle-earth from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
-Velaris: City of Starlight from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
These are some of my favorite places to explore as a reader, and I still wish to this day that I could visit them in real life. Where do you see yourself when you go into another realm? Do you have a place already created that you can escape to?
