El Shaddai, The Lord God Almighty,
Our Sustainer;
El Elyon, the Most High God;
The Extreme Sovereignty and Majesty;
Adonai, Lord Master,
Not to be taken in vain;
Yahweh, Lord Jehovah,
He is who He is;
Jehovah Raah, The Lord my Shepherd,
Our Friend and Companion;
Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who Heals,
The Restorer of All;
El Olam, the Everlasting God,
Eternal and Forever;
His names are
many, but to many,
He is Father.

I recently graduated from Shorter University and accepted a teaching job at a highschool in my hometown. I was a four-year volleyball team captain at Shorter, and I was also a member of the Sigma Tau Delta and Kappa Delta Pi. I would be nothing without the daving grace of Jesus Christ; He is my light, my Father, and the inspiration for this poem. I hope to love others with even a fraction of the unconditional love that He has given me throughout my life.
