Karina G-Lopez is a writer, author, poet, actor and educator from New York City. She is 1/3 of the Live Big Girl play as a writer, author and actor. Live Big Girl is a poetic play that sold out at the National Black Theater, BAAD Theater and The Tank Theater. She is also is the author of several poetry books and her works have been published in various magazines, anthologies and websites.

Karina has featured at various venues including: The NYC Poetry Festival at Governor’s Island, Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Q-Boro Lit Crawl, WORD- A Caribbean Lit Fest, The New School, LaGuardia Community College, Hostos Community College, The Bronx Museum, Andrew Freedman Home, Taller Latino American among other locations.
